Liberty Hall 360 is an upcoming immersive experience of the historic marriage of John Jay and Sarah Livingston. Audiences will be able experience the reenactment through a short film using 360-degree video and virtual reality. The experience will recreate the 18th century world in a contemporary context using Liberty Hall, and visitors will feel like time travelers going back to the 1700's. I am currently working on projects with Liberty Hall Museum where I am collaborating with student researchers to make the museum's content more accessible through designed experiences using 360-degree photography and augmented reality technologies.
Within my creative practice, I have an ongoing series entitled Experiential Extensions where I am creating aesthetic forms using photographic shapes and time. I treat time as depth and find ways of lofting and extruding forms through those photographic shapes. Quite often, I find ways of representing memory and the passage of time within this series.
